2021 was a fantastic year for me, and that’s a bit of an underestimation.
From building relationships to forming habits, this year taught me a lot and I’d like to share some of it with you so here you go:
From building relationships to forming habits, this year taught me a lot and I’d like to share some of it with you so here you go:
- Everybody needs somebody – or many people not just one. The importance of great friendships can’t be overemphasized. Beyond having a partner, intentionally build friendships too.
- Be generous – with money, time, words of affirmation, and any good thing. There’s always something you’re equipped to give and someone out there hoping to receive it.
- Sometimes it’s ok to do what everyone else is doing – or it’s at least easier than doing nothing at all. If you find a good trend, feel free to copy it.
- Passive mentorship is a thing – Find someone you admire and simply study them without even approaching them. It’s a quicker way to learn than waiting for ages for them to respond. Here are some tips on passive mentorship.
- Make learning a habit – Create weekly calendar appointments for it and never miss them. As for the cost, you can always start with free YouTube videos.
- Money over time – If you have to choose between wasting money and wasting time, choose money every time because it’s possible to get it back.
- Pray – unceasingly and with your whole heart because there is a God who never fails.
That’s it for now. Now it’s your turn. What’s one thing 2021 taught you? Please let me know in the comment section.
P.S: Thank YOU for an amazing 2021. It warms my heart to know that you’re out there, reading the stuff I’m writing here.
‘Everybody needs somebody’, I learnt that last year too.
